Summer is here, and and the weather is beautiful! Every Friday in June, July, and August, there will be free concerts outside on the downtown square for your enjoyment. The schedule is on our poster, but can also be found on the Summer on the Square page of our website as well, under the Summer on the Square tab. We hope you can join us!
There are plenty of classes, and there’s lots of fun! Kids in 1st-8th grade are encouraged to paint their very own masterpiece, register now!
Beginning May 15th, 2019, the Kirksville Arts Association welcomes Russell Nelson to the gallery to exhibit his extraordinary watercolor paintings.
The reception will be held on Friday, May 17th at 5:30 PM.

The Kirksville Arts Association invites you to the annual event
“A Tea to Remember.” Come join us on Sunday, April 28th, 2019.
The Tea will be held at the Kirksville Arts Center from 2-4 PM.
Purchase your tickets at Beard’s Decorating Center for $20 each (all proceeds benefit the Kirksville Arts Association.
There will be sweet and savory treats included, we hope to see you there!
Coming up on April 29th at 6:30 p.m., there is a wonderful concert being held at the First Christian Church at 100 N High St. There will be a reception immediately following the concert, we hope to see you there!

The Creating Community Arts Festival 2019 is a program aimed at expressing people’s lives and creating a diverse future. Join us at the reception for their exhibit on Thursday, April 25th at 5 PM, or come view their artwork from April 17th-29th at the KAA Gallery.
North Missouri Fiber Artists:
The purpose of this group is to explore the fiber arts and related topics. We seek to inspire, encourage, educate and share the joys of fiber arts with others. We provide a forum for showing work and getting meaningful feedback. The current interests of active members are broad including, sewing, cross stitch, dyeing, spinning, knitting, crochet and weaving. Exchange information and ideas. The group is open to anyone, at any stage of development in the fiber arts (from “want to learn” to expert) who is interested in participating in the Guild. We currently meet on the third Saturday of most month from 2-4 pm.
This is a week-long event to celebrate the talent in Kirksville’s youngest learners! There is a new event every day throughout the week of April 29th – May 3rd, so put these dates in your calendar and bring your children to join in the fun!
