RED BARN ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL

The Red Barn Arts & Crafts Festival seeks to bring together individuals involved in the visual arts, performing arts, and crafts, with the extended community of the Kirksville region. Our setting is one of family entertainment and arts education, which cultivates an appreciation and understanding of the arts while creating promotional opportunities for participating artists.

SUMMER ON THE SQUARE

The Summer on the Square Concert Series runs every Friday night from June through August and is held on the lawn of the Adair County Courthouse. Artists from the community and surrounding areas perform on the steps of the Courthouse.

This Summer on the Square Season promises to entertain and enchant folks every Friday evening from June through August.

Do come, bring your chair and enjoy hometown folks with top notch music. Kids love dancing to the music.

LUNCH AND LEARN

Lunch and Learns are typically held at various times throughout the year, often in connection with an exhibit series. The pandemic has brought us to hosting an Artist Series of Red Barn Exhibitors instead, both in person and via ZOOM.

INVITATION TO THE ARTS

Invitation to the Arts has been sustained by the KAA for over 30 years. The program brings before and after-school art workshops to elementary school students, grades 3-5.

All workshops are free to students and help supplement exposure to the arts.

A TEA TO REMEMBER

Express your creativity decorating your tea table with your group, all while enjoying three rounds of delicious food and sweets for an unforgettable experience!
