Free concert series in downtown kirksville
The Kirksville Area Arts Association (KAA) Board of Directors has been closely monitoring, evaluating, and assessing our Summer on the Square series after each performance. Out of caution, the KAA has determined it is in the best interest of the community to cancel the remainder of the 2020 concert season.
The KAA is eager to return with the Summer on the Square series the first Friday of June 2021! We would like to thank the whole community, our performers, our patrons, and especially our sponsors for strongly supporting the Summer on the Square effort and for bearing with us during this difficult time in the world for hosting public events. The KAA would like to provide a special thanks to the City of Kirksville, Sparklight, Dukum Inn Bar and Grill, Chariton Valley Association, Kirksville Tourism Office, and the Missouri Arts Council for their financial support through sponsorships and grants for this and other years’ programs. The KAA appreciates our sponsors and wants to extend great appreciation for their continued support!
