A Tea to Remember: Tickets now Available

The Kirksville Arts Association is happy to announce we are bringing back our classic event: A Tea to Remember!

The tea this year will be hosted at the Sue Ross Arts Center on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023. The tea will run from 2PM to 4PM, and tickets are $25 per person.

Tickets can be purchased at the Sue Ross Arts Center, located at 215 S Franklin St. in Kirksville! Gallery hours are M-F 11-4PM, and Saturdays 10-2 PM.

The tea will include savories, sweets, and table inspirations!

The Clara Straight raffle is still ongoing! Get your chances in before April 13th!Tickets are $5 each, or $20 for 5!

Lyceum tickets for the upcoming Take 3 show are now available at the Sue Ross Arts Center!

Take 3 will be performing Sunday, March 5th!

Our next upcoming exhibit is “A Sampler of Needlework.” This will include needlework of all types, with some pieces having been passed down many generations!

There will be a wonderful variety of needlework at the SRAC starting March 6th! More info very soon to come!


Regional Artist Exhibit Now Open!

Hello Kirksville!

The Kirksville Arts Association is happy to say that our first exhibit of 2023 is now open! Regional Artists brings in artists from Kirksville and the surrounding areas right here to the Sue Ross Arts Center. Come enjoy a variety of mediums from a wide spectrum of talented artists!

A big thank you to our sponsors Lovegreen Ford and Complete Family Medicine! Without them, exhibits would not be possible! Kirksville Arts relies on the Kirksville community to bring you new exhibits and events!


Upcoming in mid-April is our Area High School Artist Showcase! We will be sending information out to area High Schools in Kirksville and surrounding counties soon. We are offering monetary awards, including a prize to the teacher of the 1st place winner to be used for classroom supplies!

This exhibit will offer a unique opportunity for area young artists to experience exhibiting their work in a gallery along with their peers from other schools.

The date for the 48th Annual Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival is official! Save the Date for Saturday, September 16th, 2023! Applications are currently in production — more updates to come!


A quick note: All tickets for the Lyceum show Rhonda Vincent and the Rage are currently SOLD OUT. The show premieres this Friday, January 27th.


Raffle + Upcoming exhibit

Hello Kirksville!

We hope you had a safe and happy Holiday!

We are happy to announce we have a Clara Straight raffle ongoing! The raffle will be for “Wild Sunflowers,” painted in 2022 by Clara.

Each ticket will be $5, or 5 tickets for $20! You will have until April 14th, 2023 to purchase entries!


Lyceum Series:

Rhonda Vincent and the Rage will be performing January 27th with the Lyceum Kohlenberg series with Truman State University! This will be at the Baldwin Auditorium at 7:30 PM.

We suggest calling us before making the trip, to ensure we have the tickets in-office! (660) 665-0500!


EXHIBIT UPCOMING:

Regional Artists is our next exhibit! This will premiere January 16th — Keep an eye out for future announcements!

This exhibit will welcome a multitude of talented artists spanning across various mediums. There will also be cash prizes, so come and see who the winners will be during the exhibit reception on Jan. 19. More info to come!
